Connecting retailers with curated brands

Many independent retailers struggle to find unique, quality products to stock their shelves while emerging brands struggle to connect with these retailers to secure wholesale orders. Hubba, a leader in the retail technology industry, bridges the gap between these two groups to grow their businesses.

Our team worked with Hubba to create a mobile platform that further facilitates these connections and expands their network of top retailers and brands by providing an engaging video-sharing system.

Application structure

In order to create an experience that is curated for our two types of users, we built one interface for retailers and one interface for brands. To promote successful connections, all touchpoints between users are set up to be engaging and meaningful.

Visual language

As an extension of the Hubba platform, it was important for the visual identity of the application to compliment Hubba's own branding. We created a design system that is successful in doing so while also maintaining consistency across the application.

Brands application

Upon accessing the platform with their Hubba account, brands are able to build their image using the Brand Story feature. Users can easily discover the most relevant retailers for their brand via the custom feed, search function, and curated groups.

The pitch submission process is effortless for users, and the application manages the performance of their pitches. Brands are also encouraged to send pitches for retailers not yet on the application, attracting new retailers and expanding Hubba's network.

Retailer application

For retailers, being able to efficiently browse the vast amounts of pitches sent to them is key. We created a Tinder-style interface that allows users to quickly view videos and provide their feedback.

Once a retailer expresses interest in a brand, the application provides the next steps to further the connection and create business transactions.
