In a continuous effort to advance our service capability for both our existing and new Partners, as well as to be more to these Partners than a traditional agency, GigaLab is officially launching a new service, called Teams.
With the introduction of Teams, you can think of GigaLab now as more of an end-to-end software development platform rather than an adhoc development or design firm. GigaLab Teams are engineering, design and project management resources that can become either fully managed extensions of your internal technical infrastructure or the standalone technical infrastructure of your company. Appropriate for partner companies of all sizes, GigaLab is capable of staffing as little as one resource or as many as 20.
A GigaLab Team’s DNA can be a combination of any skillset and can include system architects, system administrators, frontend developers, backend developers, quality assurance engineers, project managers and product managers. All Team members are rigorously trained, consistently reevaluated and fully managed by GigaLab.
Teams are compartmentalized, and therefore priced differently, depending on the service level. A Team can be staffed for one of three areas of service:
- Ongoing Maintenance – Build a team of affordable, highly talented, single-language engineering resources to enhance, manage growth or re-engineer an existing product. Hourly rates starting at $100 per hour.
- New Product Development – Fuel internal innovation by building a Team of multi-faceted resources, which can include Software Architects, Developers, Designers and Product Managers. Hourly rates range between $150 and $380 per hour.
- Proprietary System Development – Engage GigaLab’s core competency to ideate and implement custom algorithms to solve key business problems. Invoiced on a fixed rate basis, depending on the system’s complexity.
In this transition, GigaLab will be moving away from traditional, archaic agency processes and move toward a new-age service model that we strongly believe will allow us to immediately offer a more predictable, transparent and consistent level of service for all Partners.
